Summer launch of Frank Grace Gallery

Monday July 06, 2009

The Frank Grace Gallery is happy to announce its official launch into cyberspace!

We are proud to be creating an autonomous, independent art space at a time when the creative arts are most in need of enlightened ideas, innovative thinking and new directives. 2008/2009 have been times of great economic disruption around the globe, the old ways of conducting business and selling art are dying out. The art world (along with almost every other industry and profession) is caught in the midst of great upheaval and change, and it will be interesting to see how things shape up over the coming years.

Here at the Frank Grace Gallery we believe that art is more important to society than ever during times of great revolution and development, for art provides a mirror for our ideals, our discontent and our social aims. It encourages our creative aspirations and can inspire people from all corners of society to new and better things. Above all art can provide us with an escape from the real world... something to ponder when we've had enough of bankers, polititians and the constant doom and gloom of the World's media.

The Frank Grace Gallery believes that the recession isn't all bad news. We have a chance to change stale policies and outlooks, a chance to make art something democratic and attainable once again. It is time that art lovers and collectors had more of a say in the way that the art market is shaped and operates.

As such, here at the Frank Grace Gallery we welcome your thoughts and ideas. We want to bring you the art you love at a reasonable price, and ensure that you are matched up with pieces that will sit proudly on your walls for years to come. For us art is about aesthetics, ingenuity and vision, not maximising profits or intimidating clients. That is why, as a primarily online gallery, we aim to keep overheads to a minimum in order to provide you with the best possible deal on first-rate artworks.

We hope that you enjoy looking around our website. If you have any questions, thoughts or interesting ideas please don't hesitate to contact us. We are always looking to make new contacts and collaborate on new projects - make way for the new generation!
